Welcome to Schooner Cove Yacht Club

Situated on the east side of central Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Schooner Cove is a racing and cruising paradise for twelve months of the year.

We are dedicated to the development of yachting and the science of sportsmanship, seamanship and navigation.   We welcome your application for membership

SCYC  offers organized cruises in the spring, summer and fall for its members. Visit our cruising schedule page for details. This year's program includes a June cruise in the Gulf Islands, summer cruise in Desolation Sound and a fall trip to the Jazz Festival.  SCYC enjoys reciprocal privileges with many yacht clubs along the British Columbia/Pacific Northwest Coast. SCYC offers PHRF racing from September through March, fun club racing on Wednesday evenings in the summer, and other feature events. Check the Racing Schedule page for a list of racing series and dates. The annual spring regatta is always a highlight, featuring the Lasqueti Island Race and Inshore Race divisions.
