Schooner Cove Yacht Club Desktop Web Cam Instructions

Windows Vista users have a gadget bar on the right hand side of their desktop. To view the SCYC Web Cams on your desktop, download and install mini_browser here. Follow the simple installation instructions.

Then follow these set-up instructions:

Click on the switch size icon:

1 Enter the following URL in the address bar: http://www.scyc.ca/mini_cam.htm
2 Click the "Set as Home Page" icon
3 Click "Remove Scrollbars" icon

Click the wrench icon (top right hand side of the gadget when you mouseover) to produce this screen. Unclick the boxes, then click "Sizes" and change the "Size 2" to 704 x 576.

Then click OK.

The end result will be this on your desktop.

The image will switch between cameras every 15 seconds, and will automatically update to show the latest available image.
