1. Official Race: Three boats will be necessary to start a race.

2. Official Series: Four races are necessary to make a series.

3. Cancelled Race: If a race is canceled it will be run on the following Sunday or at the earliest opportunity at the discretion of the sail committee.

4. Race Abandoned: If no boats finish within the allotted time limit, then the race will be abandoned and rerun according to "3" above.

5. Start Signal:
		YELLOW FLAG - up 10 minutes before the first start (and horn).
		YELLOW FLAG - down 6 minutes before first start.
		BLUE FLAG - up 5 minutes before first start (and horn).
		BLUE FLAG - down 1 minute before first start.
		RED FLAG - up (and horn) is the first start signal.
	• If there is to be a second start, it will occur 10 minutes after the first start.
		RED FLAG - down 6 minutes before second start
		BLUE FLAG - up 5 minutes before second start (and horn).
		BLUE FLAG - down 1 minute before second start.
		RED FLAG - up (and horn) is the second start signal.
6. Other Signals: One long blast on the horn will accompany each of the following:
		"X" - Individual recall (blue cross on white background)
		"S" - Shortened course (blue square on white background)
		"N" - Abandonment (blue and white checks)
		"L" - Come within hail (black and yellow checks)
		"B" - Protest signal (red shape)
		"AP" - Answering Pennant (red and white vertical stripes)

7. Ratings: All ratings will remain constant for an entire series unless under special circumstances is approved by the Sail Committee.
